Article Processing Charges

At Lumina Quest Publishing (LQ Publishing), we publish articles under a fully open-access model using a Creative Commons (CC BY) license. This ensures that both the scientific community and the general public have unrestricted, free, and immediate access to published research. It also allows for content reuse, provided proper attribution is given to the original authors.

To maintain the quality of our publishing services and provide open access to readers, we charge a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 300$ for manuscripts accepted after peer review. This fee supports our commitment to delivering high standards in scholarly publishing.

No submission charges. No charges for rejected articles. No additional fees based on article length, figures, or supplementary data. Editorial items such as Editorials, Corrections, Additions, Retractions, Letters, and Comments are published free of charge.

What Does the APC Cover?

  1. Editorial Process: Management of peer review, revisions, and final decision-making. Dedicated in-house staff to handle administrative tasks, allowing editorial board members to focus on making key scientific decisions. Discounts and waivers offered to reviewers and editorial board members in recognition of their valuable contributions.
  2. Article Production: Professional language editing. Formatting, typesetting, and production in multiple formats (PDF, XML, HTML, and EPUB).
  3. Article Hosting and Dissemination: Website hosting and maintenance. Ensuring articles are indexed in major databases for wider visibility.
  4. Journal Administration: Managing the journal website and editorial board. Promoting the journal within the research community.
  5. Philanthropic Initiatives: Investment in projects that benefit the research community, such as sponsorships, awards, and conferences.

Discounts and Waivers

At LQ Publishing, we are committed to supporting researchers worldwide, particularly those with limited resources.

Waivers for Low-Income Countries: APCs are routinely waived for authors from low-income countries to encourage their participation in global research dissemination. Case-by-Case Discounts: Authors facing financial constraints or demonstrating exceptional content quality can request waivers or discounts during the submission process. Such requests are carefully reviewed to ensure fairness.

By keeping overhead costs minimal and strategically outsourcing select management, production, and IT tasks, LQ Publishing ensures that your APC contributes directly to advancing research dissemination and maintaining high-quality publishing standards.

Payment of an Article Processing Charge has no influence on editorial decisions, peer review, acceptance, or rejection.
